Privacy

Last reviewed: at the time of writing. This page explains, in plain language, how Northhaven Care handles your information.

What we collect

We collect contact intent only: your first name, a way to reach you (email and, if you choose, phone), your state, your preferred language, who the care is for, the general kind of care you're looking into, and any short note you choose to add.

What we never collect

We never ask for, and we ask you not to send, medical history, diagnoses, medications, treatment details, Medicare or Medicaid numbers, Social Security numbers, financial-account numbers, or immigration documents. If our forms detect number patterns that look like these, we remove them. We do not need this information to help you.

How we use it

We use what you share to understand the level of care you're looking for and to connect you, at no cost, with nursing homes or skilled-nursing facilities that may fit. If you ask a question, we use your contact details to reply.

Who we share it with

When you ask to be matched, we share your contact details and your general request with one or more participating facilities so they can reach out to you. We do not sell your information. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Consent and your choices

By submitting a form you consent to be contacted about your request, including by automated phone, text, or email. Consent is not a condition of any service. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to texts, unsubscribing from emails, or emailing us.

Important: Northhaven Care is a free matching and information service. We are not a nursing home, a care provider, or a government program, and we do not give medical, legal, or financial advice. The information here is general and educational. Quality ratings, staffing levels, costs, and rules vary by facility, by state, and over time — always confirm details directly with the facility and official sources such as Medicare.gov Care Compare. We never charge your family, and we never promise a specific facility, bed, price, or care outcome.

Some skilled-nursing and long-term-care providers pay Northhaven Care a flat fee to be matched with families. This never changes what you pay (our service is always free to you), and it never affects guidance about Medicaid or Medicare, which we provide independently and without any referral arrangement.
